in regards to your comment about the civil rights act, the democrats fought against it because in many ways they were the conservative party of the time. After the Civil Rights Act passed, the Republicans implemented the Southern Strategy where they played on race and began hating on their black brothers. They’re not the same parties. Lincoln was a liberal by today’s standards.

Ana made some comments in that link you put up against what Cenk was saying. I’m pretty sure she’s Christian. It’s not fair to say that she def is, but Armenia has been a Christian kingdom for thousands of years so it’d be really strange if she wasn’t Christian.
But yeah I think they just all need to talk about the name.

I know Ana is Armenian, however I don’t know if she is Christain or if she lost any relatives when the Young Turks shot the men and forced marched the women and children into the desert to die of thirst and starvation during World War 1. The show is not about killing Armenians, but the name of the show is the same name of the Political Party that killed over a million “Christain” Armenians.
Kind of like naming your show “The Young Nazis” or “The Young Bolsheviks” (Holodomor famine)
You may say it was coincidental, since they are young, they are turks so hence the name “The Young Turks”.

Look at some of these other ever increasing gv’ts. Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, The United Kingdom. They are collapsing under the weight of their financial debt. In the U.K, the rationing of health services is dire. In Greece. gv’t workers riot in the streets after having their retirement increased to age 65.
