Anita leaves the baby with Manju and goes out with Anuj for dinner. The union leader Prasad barges into the Sethi house with a group of factory workers. Anuj warns him not to mix factory matters into the family. Prasad reveals before everyone that the factory fire and death of two workers, was a result of Abhis fault. He also tells that Abhi was in police custody all night. Abhi calls up the police and demands action against Prasad. Anuj tells Abhi that he shouldn’t have taken the blame as it was his fault. Just then Anita calls out to Anuj saying that the baby is not well. They decide to take the child to the doctor. Neetu tells Anita that the child was fine and that she had fed him milk since he was hungry. Anita is shocked.
