The trick is to be someone he knows has the capacity to be sexy within them somewhere, someone he knows is refraining from sex because of their principles, because they believe in marriage, and NOT be someone he thinks is simply emotionally incapable of it.

When you stop considering yourself as purposeful, beautiful, and fun to be around, so will others. When your dream dies in your eyes, it dies in the eyes of others as well. I think I know what happened. And how to fix it. I have to take better care of myself, and get back to being the best that I can be. To be self-sufficient and purposeful. What if he tells me that I am his favorite person, but he doesn’t want to be in a relationship forever? He said there is no one else and that he doesn’t want to be in a relationship with anybody, and that it has nothing to do with me. He is going to college soon, and he really enjoys my company, and I his. We had the spark that you talk about. But both of us are really busy. He says maybe in the future we will get back together. Right now, it’s really difficult. I guess he has to find himself.
This isn’t always the case if the guy uses you for friend sex. Then, the problem isn’t sexual attraction it’s fear of commitment.

Matthew thanks. It was not game over n it is right. As I changed my behavior he also changed and the keys are patient and trust. I realized tht I was not being myself whn I was with him because I was trying to be a perfect woman that I thought he wants. When I realized that, after watching this video- I changed to be me and believed if the spark is still there he will be back. Yes he did. Do not expect relationship to be smooth coz I think it is always will be like a roller coaster. Else boring.

I feel like crying when I watch this video! Matthew thanks so much for highlighting this part because yesterday my bf just said this exact words, it is really driving me mad,sad & heart breaking. I want to confront and discuss with him because he said he wants the same things like what i do want – move to the next level- but he is scared. I am scared too Matthew. I hope i will make a right move. I am so hopeless in one sense because I am too sad now, but I am more sensible than ever about him.
