  1. I find that interesting but I’m not that sure about it.
The voice is telling you to do things that are bad, things that hurt you. Thats why I think the voice being an abusive partner is much more likely.
But then again, everyone has other feelings regarding these topics.

  2. This is quickly becoming my favorite thing youtube. As soon as I logg on I find myself checking to see if there is a new one.

  3. This is one of the best episodes you guys have recorded so far. You should get into these debates more often; I love that you contemplate the meanings behind each one, and even divulge some personal experiences that connect you and the audience (like me) a lot more closer.

  4. Another interesting point on Loved is how that they assume the text commanding them is male, when there is no indication of gender throughout the game.

  5. Okay, so I have a theory on Judith. Jeff and Emily’s story was all made up by Judith who, when trapped in that final room by her husband, wished so badly to be rescued. At the end Emily says she was so scared and said for Jeff to never leave her like that, even though it was her who ran off in the first place. This represents how Judith couldn’t resist delving deeper into the king’s secrets and how she eventually became “lost” when it came to understanding just who she married.

  6. this is the first time i’ve felt this strongly that not only were videogames art, but they were also insanely interesting on a psychological POV.That was awesome, thanks, I’m learning and discovering so much from this show

  7. “Part 2 “- although following yourself might lead to an unstable life.. the ” DO NOT FAIL ” might be your last and hardest chance to really do what you want.. if you deny the guy all the time, the ” do not fail ” part gets A LOT harder.. i guess thats because you have all this pressure built up..
Oh and btw, i spelled Loved Love.. my mistake

  8. I think love is about a child.. if you submit, you’re being raised into a ” woman ” .. you dont get to choose if you’re a boy or a girl.. you’ve already been forced into something from birth..
and the whole ” i loved you always ” i suppose is because the dude ( i guess the father? ) always loved his daughter… something like that..
Its easy to get into a stable life by just submitting into whats best for you.. ( what your parent might be telling you ) but you might want to really follow urself

  9. Loved can also be a representation of a BDSMish relationship. It’s creepy and controlling, but also can be seen as a consensual D/s relationship.

  10. with that texting or talking question i actually have a girlfriend and we talk alot in real person more in texting but it really depends onhow much they can meet and see eachother

  11. You guys should play “The Infinite Ocean” on kong or “You shall know the truth” Both games have tons of meaning. I know they don’t have anything to do with dating, but i think it would be a good experience for everyone.

  12. (cont.) In this regard I don’t find the game unsatisfying, anti-climatic as the ending may be, because I don’t think the purpose was of the game was a shock factor. I think it was to show that our curiosity (especially when we justify that curiosity by saying it’s based on love, which both PC’s did) will drive us to keep pressing on regardless of what we fear the answer will be…..and in many ways this parallels how we play a story based game as gamers, pressing on due to our own curiosity.

  13. I have to say (and I’m watching this late so I’m not exactly sure it will matter) but I see Judith itself as a game about curiosity and what it leads to. You have the two timelines, and both of the characters are driven by their curiosity, despite the fact that they both have an inkling that their curiosity will lead only to dark places. In the past, Judith’s curiosity ultimately led to her demise. In the present, though the MC thought something horrible would happen he pressed on.

  14. You can’t win if you don’t play it through. You simply left when you were given a difficult choice to make. Since you didn’t made any concessions, you were neither loved or hated, simply forgotten.

  15. Also my interpretation of Loved is that it’s an abusive relationship, and the obey ending is stockholm syndrome. The other ending is breaking free and gaining life, but it’s harder
