Dadi makes it clear to Sajjan that Ganga is not to be a part of their diwali celebrations. Ganga is miffed that Sajjan has agreed to celebrate diwali without her. Pratigya tells Krishna that Sajjan has realized his mistake and decided to celebrate diwali with his family. Krishna condemns Ganga for his family’s indignity. Gunga comforts Ganga when she is shares her disappointment with him. Pratigya and Krishna burst crackers. Krishna recalls Nilima’s words. Ganga is astonished when Gunga buys her crackers out of his hard earned money. Pratigya goes looking for Gunga while Ganga and he are locked in an embrace on the terrace.
