The subjects of Bharuch worry at the mendicant’s prophecies. Shobha then reminds them that their queen loves them like her own, so they agree to continue bestowing their affection on her. Later, Bhanuman praises Indumati for her plan but she says that Shobha foiled it again. He assures Indumati that Gayatri Devi will surely start hating herself. Gayatri Devi decides to leave the palace but Dadda convinces her not to. Meanwhile, an angry Shobha takes away her offerings from the `Shiv Ling’ because Gayatri Devi had been humiliated! Bheemdev reminds her that it is the festival of `Mahashivratri’, and that she had eventually protected the queen from being disgraced. Shobha feels guilty for getting upset with her Lord. Meanwhile, Rudrabhadra prays to Tripurasundari for the success of his mission to acquire many a `devdasi’ from Bharuch. He also wishes to be greater than Gang Sarvagya. On the other hand, Mahmud Ghaznavi asks his brother, Ismail, to accept that he is a more able king and to plead guilty of trying to killing him. However, Ismail refuses, so Mahmud challenges him to a fight, and Mahmud slays his brother. Mahmud orders his men to loot the treasuries of India as well as to kidnap the beautiful women, and declares that his sole target is the Somnath Temple!
