Simi desperately prays for Anita and Neetus well being. She is elated to hear that Neetu has given birth to a son. But she also gets the news that Anitas child could not be saved. Simi is overjoyed to see Neetus child. Neetu is shocked to know about Anitas child. The doctor also tells Simi that Anita can never become a mother again, and suggests that Anita can be saved from the trauma only if she is shown a child as hers. Simi tells Neetu about Anitas condition and also that she could be saved only if Neetu gives away her child. After a lot of tear shedding, Neetu agrees, for the sake of Anuj and Manjus happiness. Omi is very hurt by the decision, but he agrees for Neetus sake.
