I’m curious what your advice would be for someone with asperger’s syndrome? One of the problems that I have isn’t just that it is approach anxiety but that sometimes an unfamiliar situation can set off a panic attack (which is one of the symptoms of this condition) I do have the eye contact issue down though because I’ve learned I can work around it by looking in the immediate general area of the eyes, but no further away from the eyes then the person’s nose.

Well I understand what you say here, if you really believe that a neg is to lower a girls value. That is not true, it’s is purely to disqualify yourself as someone who is there to hit on her, and to disarm her and her friends whilst at the same time creating a challenge for the girl to want to chase you more.
I think people misunderstand this far too much.
Whether you use them or not, there are many styles that work, negging should be playful and not seem insulting or to lower her value.
