Mr. Mathur reprimands Vishal over his decision to continue his studies in India itself and not return to London. But Mili lies to him saying that they want to stay in India so that she and Vishal can look after them well. Manju is worried to know that Neetu had to be rushed to the hospital. Manju and Rajinder are even more worried on learning that Abhi has gone to bring Mili for the `Pagphere ceremony. Mili continues her act to impress the Mathurs. Mrs. Mathur asks Mili to get ready for the ceremony. But Mili has plans to live at Karol Baug forever. When Abhi comes to take Mili, Vishal reprimands him for failing to help him and for defaming his parents before the Sethis. Mili is extremely pleased that Abhi has come to pick her and assumes that Abhi came because he too loves her. On the way to Karol Baug, she tries to touch Abhi. In an attempt to avoid her, Abhi rams his vehicle into a handcart.
